International Volunteer Day (IVD) is our special day. The one day of the year where international, skilled volunteering for development is formally acknowledged by the international community. As a returned volunteer, your story is worth telling and the Australian Volunteers Program wants to celebrate your contribution to sustainable development.

This is a free event for returned volunteers. Registration is essential. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
At this special event you will meet and hear from:
- A Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Representative, from the Australian Volunteers Section
- Max Barot, Australian Volunteers Program alumni (RAVN) Max is a livestock veterinarian who spent time volunteering and undertaking internship programs in East Africa and Vietnam. In his current role, Max works extensively with partners in the Asia-Pacific to help improve animal health.
- Your RAVN State Representatives for ACT who organise this event and other networking events for RAVN members throughout the year.
